"AIM TO PLEASE"
Medium - Oil Size - 18 X 24 inches
It took me a long time to decide that the tail end of a cow would be a desirable subject to paint. I did so because the scene holds a personal significance. I took the photo reference years ago with a poloroid camera. The milk-boy is my little brother, and the cow was the family’s blind cow, Patsy. We led her around from the time she was born; and she became quite the pet indeed. In the faded photo, the milk was really shooting in that direction-not toward the bucket! I took the liberty to add cats.
